Saxon, August III Sas (1733-1763), sixpence 1760 REOE, Gdansk mint.

Beautifully minted and preserved coin with charming patina and mint luster, with virtually no traces of circulation, the first vintage of the king's Danzig sixpacks

king. Minimal sheet tip at 12 o'clock.

obverse: royal bust with crown on head, armor and cloak and legend D-G-AVGVSTVS-III-REX-POL-M-D-L-R-PR-D-S-&-EL

reverse: coat of arms of Gdansk in the inner rim supported by a lion's eagle, above it a wreath and the marking of the denomination VI, between the lions initials
R E OE (R.E.Oeckerman) and date 1760, in the rim legend MON-ARGENT-CIVITAT-GEDANENSIS
silver, weight 2.93 grams, diameter 23.6 mm
