Vasa, John II Casimir (1648-1668), ort 1656, Lviv, VERY RARE
The first (and practically the only one available on the market - not counting the January 1657 small issue) vintage orta from the Lviv mint after the repulsion of the siege by the Moscow and Cossack armies. The 1656 coins were made very untidy and on the spur of the moment by city artisans not mince-masters, hence beautifully and evenly struck orts are rarely available. Like the one offered, deficient on one side, the other retaining virtually mint details. Uncirculated PRVS variety in the rim and with an "8" at the end of the royal titulature.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!
