Haller's Swords - badge awarded to soldiers of the Polish Army (the so-called Blue Army - from the color of the uniforms worn) formed in France in 1917 on the initiative of Roman Dmowski, by decree of then French President Raymond Poincare. The badge was awarded by the Board of Directors of the Hallerian Union from 1920, and later to deserving veterans by the Association of Polish Army Veterans in America.
