Denarius minted in Vilnius in 1546 for Sigismund Augustus. Extremely rare variety with the 5th type of the Hound (horse's tail lowered) and the first type of the Eagle. In the catalog "Lithuanian coins of Sigismundus Augustus 1545 - 1571" by Cesnulis, Ivanauskas this coin is listed under number 2SA2 - 1 with rarity RRRR.

First vintage of Lithuanian denarii, very rare coin, variety with a lowered horse's tail.
