City penny minted in 1629 during the Swedish Occupation of the city by Gustav II Adolf. UNNOTED punctuation variety with erroneously minted date of 20 (1620). Two varieties of these pennies are noted by Dutkowski and Suchanek in the catalog "Corpus Nummorum Civitatis Elbigensis" under the numbers 548 and 549 with the rarity R5. The presented coin has a reverse legend not described in this catalog GROSSVS:CIVI.ELBING.20
